A Christmas Eve 2021 tax review

Merry Christmas Eve!

For the few of you checking in today, I hope that however and whatever you're celebrating this time of year, it's joyous.

The hubby and I are pretty well set for tomorrow's big day. Decorating is done. Yes, that's an artsy shot below that I took of our tree.

Plus, Christmas cards are long mailed and gifts bought. All that's left is the cooking.

So today, I'm knocking off early to do some of that food stuff. And stuffing. Or, more accurately, make my Mam-ma's dressing. And pies, which actually are the hubby's job, one he does very, very well.

But if you've wandered over here looking for some tax instead of food tidbits, below is a mini buffet of holiday-themed posts from this and previous tax years.

They aren't in any particular order. Unlike the more-organized St. Nick, I just grabbed what popped up when it showed up in my tax goodies bag (or blog search tool)!

Merry Christmas Eve and thanks to Santa Claus for all his potentially tax-deductible work today

Holiday tipping and a tax tip for recipients

10 financial holiday gifts, including some with tax advantages

Make the most of mail tax deductions in December & beyond

Tax and other gifts of the MAGI

5 ways to determine whether a charity is naughty or nice

Yes, Virginia, you'll probably pay tax on your Christmas tree

'Tis still the season for office holiday parties, bonuses and taxes

Gift cards are great holiday gifts, but not a way to pay taxes

Celebrate continued lower alcohol excise taxes with a beer and cookie party

'Tis the season to let the IRS know your new address

And because there still are a few days left in this last month of the year, 6 tax moves to make in December 2021.

I hope these posts help if you're still looking to make some tax moves.

But most of all, I hope you have the Merriest (and safest) Christmas Eve and Dec. 25th!
