Perry's refusal to bet saves Romney taxes

In case you missed the bet proffered during the latest Republican presidential candidate debate on Saturday night, here's the exchange.

By turning down Mitt Romney's $10,000 bet to settle a question about health care mandates, Janet Novack of Forbes magazine notes that Texas Gov. Rick Perry saved Romney from a $4,000 tax bill.

With no skin in the game, I guess both guys are running just for fun.
