It's been a busy Saturday, wrapping up a busy week, so I'm cutting right to the chase on today's note about last week at my other tax blog.

Bankrate Taxes Blog icon Since the tax return extension due date is almost here, I first reminded procrastinating filers to report all their income, even if they didn't get a 1099 for some payments.

Then I looked at Denmark's new national tax on fatty foods. The real reason behind the fat tax is not the health of Danes, but the health of the country's treasury.
