One of the great things about living in the Central Time Zone is that the hubby and I get two New Year's Eve celebrations, if, that is, we can stay awake!
We watch the New York City festivities on TV (Anderson and Kathy, not Seacrest), share a 12 EDT/11 CDT smooch, then wait for it all to happen again an hour later. Again, if we haven't nodded off in our recliners.
Our boring year-end, year-in commemorations are not because of our age, but because of our dislike of hassles. So for the many decades we've been together, we've usually spent the 31st to 1st changeover alone. It works for us.
I hope you had a great New Year's Eve, however you chose to ring in 2010, and that the new year will be a good one for us all.
