Created and hosted by the sisters who pen Pecuniarities, their new financial carnival takes a somewhat different approach. Rather than seeking recently published blog items, Penelope Pince and Madoline Hatter showcase content of lasting value from the personal finance and frugality blogosphere.
Bloggers are free to submit their best and favorites from any part of their archives. That means if you happen to revisit this first collection, dubbed The Madoline Hatter Pecuniary Art Edition, six months from now, the content would all still be relevant.
I am delighted to report that my piece When renting is the right choice, from Sept. 27, 2006, made the carnival. Some other pecuniary posts I'm partial to include:
Linsey from Wise Bread warns Beware of pretty things: 4 reasons I’m keeping my old ugly stuff.
Christina from Northern Cheapskate says Don’t Let Coupons Clip Into Your Free Time.
Cindy from The Money Mender suggests How to Have More Fun With Your Tax Refund in 2009.
These are just a fraction of the first Carnival of Pecuniary Delights, so check it all out to find your own favorites.
